Gone Artsy May Wedding Project

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today I am sharing my May DT project with you for Gone Artsy.

The theme was Military!

Well I sure was stumped with this one so I decided to create a bride's beret.

May is synonymous with remembering all the military men and women  who gave their lives so we can have our freedom today both here and in the USA.

The embellishments were bought from Deb's Gone Artsy Shop.

On the beret I have used the following products.
GA291 - Brooches 5 in the pack
GA55 - Pack of 2 Ostrich Feathers
GA76 - White pearl beaded ribbon

Deb has some fabulous laces and bling, why not hop on over to see for yourself.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges

Butterfly Fairy

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Have you all  had a nice weekend.

I spent yesterday crafting and getting quite inky fingers. I had a play with my new stamps and dies.

Today's card is made using the Fairy Magic card kit from Lelli-Bot.

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have cut across the front diagonally.
2. On the inside of the card I have matted and layered black pearlescent and butterfly paper.
3. On the front of the card I have matted and layered black card wrapping white ribbon around before adhering to card.
4. I matted and layered the topper onto silver pearlescent card cutting out with SB Scalloped oval.
5. To finish off I added the black roses, bow, butterfly charm and sentiment from the kit. I then attached a black and white butterfly and white butterfly.

Sewing Room

Good Morning Crafty Friends Followers and Visitors

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

I have a very good productive day yesterday.
Today I am going to be playing with my new crafty goodies.

Another tag to share today!  I love haberdashery crafty items, even though I am very new to sewing!

Step by Step

1. 10 in tag which I covered with tissue paper. I used Fresco Finish in Tangerine, Bora Bora and Blue Oyster, then stamped using stamps from the HP1213 Paper Artsy stamp sheet using Snowflake.
2. I then stamped the bodice and word with Archival Coffee ink pad. The button cotton reel was stamped onto Kraft card cut out and decoupaged onto the tag.
3. The tape measure was in my stash and the wooden cotton reel I wrapped Baker's Twine around before adhering to the Tag.
4. I then threaded Baker's Twine through 3 of the buttons and adhered them to the card.
5. To finish off I threaded tape measure ribbon and another ribbon with a sewing theme.

Into every life...

Good Morning Crafty Friends Followers and Visitors

Happy Sunday to you all!

We had a fabulous day yesterday with my granddaughters.

Well my card definitely reflects the weather we are having here in Warrington this morning!
Typical bank holiday weather!

A card today using a stencil from Clarity Stamps

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered navy blue card.
2. The next layer I painted with Fresco Blue Oyster acrylic paint, I then stamped the rain drops and once dry I brayered the images which are a Clarity Stamp stencil with Silkies Royal Satin.
3. Once this was dry I outlined the images with black Micron pen, distressed the edges and the base of the image.
4. On a piece of white card I stamped the sentiment which is a Sheena Douglass A little bit sketchy range.
