Final GDT for Chocolate Baroque

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today I am sharing with you my final GDT project using Tangled Fragments by Chocolate Baroque

I would like to thank Glenda for giving me this opportunity to showcase my work on her blog and using her beautiful stamps.  I do hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects which I know are very different to what I usually create but I hope they have been inspirational.

As you all know I LOVE the colour purple and dragonflies so this is what I have chosen to use for my last project.

Recipe

1. The base card is centre stepper cream card which I have stamped one of the stamps from the set with Versafine Imperial Purple. I then matted and layered purple card onto the centre of the card.
2.  The background of the topper was created using shaving foam and inkadinks in Lilac Heaven and using a cocktails stick swirled the ink into the foam, I then placed the card onto the foam once I was happy that all the card was covered with the foam I lifted it off and removed the excess shaving foam to reveal the pattern.
3. I stamped the image with Imperial Purple and embossed, then matted and layered onto the purple card.
4. I stamped the dragonfly from the Flora and Fauna set onto the excess patterned card with Imperial Purple and embossed then cut out and adhered to the card with Pinflair.
5. To finish off I added Tim Holtz Chit Chat Words, Live, Laugh and Love.

Many thanks for your visiting Today

Julie Nutting's Prima Dolls

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today, it is a bit cooler today. What have you got planned for today?
A few jobs to do around the house and some crafting, not decided what to play with yet, might do some colouring of images.

Today's project is a gift bag I made using Julie Nutting's Prima Doll

Pink gift bag which I have matted and layered white pearlescent card, embossed with Sheena Douglass' Sakura A4 embossing folder.
Down the left hand side I have attached pink lace and white pearl trim.

I stamped Megan onto Supersmooth, coloured her hair, face, legs and arms with Spectrum Noirs.
I stamped the image again onto Papermania Vintage Notes Fabric Paper then cut out and paper pieced her dress and hair band.
A silver butterfly charm was added too.

The tag has been made by cutting out the tag shape and adhering the fabric paper on both sides, then added a pink pearl trim and sentiment. Pink satin ribbon was attached and adhered together to dangle down the bag.
The roses I added to the bottom which have polka dot netting and glitter on the top, added pink pearl trim and a stick pin.

On the reverse I added a sheet of embossed white pearlescent card.
Along the bottom I have added pink lace and white pearl trim.

Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Last month I won the Elisabeth Bell's monthly challenge and was asked to be GDT for this month, of course I had to say yes, as you all know I LOVE Elisabeth Bell's images.

Today is the start of our new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell World and this month we would like to see For the Boys.  The image I have used is from Elphine House clear stamp called Tommy Splashing Puddles.   We look forward to seeing your entries and please check out the blog to see what the talented design team have created.

I had fun making this card as boys will most definitely be boys and love frogs, newts and crabs especially splashing puddles.

Recipe

1. A5 white landscape card.
2. First layer is Bo Bunny Country Garden and second layer is Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue
3. The newts and image have been matted and layered on Bo Bunny paper.
4. I stamped the image onto Supersmooth and coloured with Spectrum Noir Pens and Pencils.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and crab.
