Birthday Fairy

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

All Christmas card making items have been put away for another year!
I spent yesterday making some birthday cards for a change and really enjoyed it.

I have decided to make a list of things I want to try to create next year, if like me you say "oh I must try that" and never get around to actually doing anything well next year I am going to tick off a few of these items off my list.

Today's card is one of my favourites, I love fairies.

Step By Step

1. 7 x 7 square white card, I have placed a doily which has been distressed with DI Dusty Concord.
2. The next layer is paper from Prima Pixie Glen and First Edition Rose Garden adhered together the top layer I cut a 3rd of the way down and curled the side back to reveal the paper underneath and distressed with DI Shabby Shutters.
3. The Fairy image is from Hobby House Wee Toppers and distressed with Shabby Shutters then matted and layered onto lemon card.
4. I adhered pearl trim and a Wild Orchid Crafts Lily which has been distressed with Dusty Concord
5. To finish off I added a dragonfly chard and attached Baker's twine to make a bow. Added the Sentiment and green flat back gems to each corner.

Kitty Cat

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

I am off to visit my lovely friend Kath today.  No crafting just catching up and exchanging Christmas presents.

As you all know I love my kitties, Tiggy and Fluffy and thought I would share a photograph of them.

This is a rare moment of them snuggling up together as Fluffy torments Tiggy who is the elder of the two.
What do you think of my fur babies aren't they so cute?
They were the inspiration for my card today.

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card which I have punched the corner with X-cut corner punch.
2. The first layer is mirri card which I have coated with Inkadinks, I then stamped the paw prints.
3. The topper is from Kanban and Fluffy can often be found sat in a plant pot whether there is a plant in it or not LOL. I matted and layered onto purple satin mirri card cut out with SB Scalloped Circle die.
4. The sentiment has been matted and layered onto satin mirri card using SB Decorative Circle die.
5. To finish off I added the ribbon which is from my stash.

Love Story

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Only 9 more sleep and Father Christmas will have been. LOL!

How are you all doing? I am off to get my hair done this morning then visiting my friend this afternoon.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Today I have a canvas I made over the weekend.

8 x 8 canvas painted with gesso and white heart doily painted over with Gesso.
Once dry I then stencilled the heart scroll stencil I stencilled Candy Floss Sparkle Medium.
I then distressed over the whole of the canvas with Dew Drops Brilliance Orchid

The topper I cut out with heart scalloped die and adhered to the centre of the heart and painted glossy accents over the top.
The tickets I have also painted glossy accents over.

Across the top of the canvas I added white pearl flourishes.

To the left of the image I used roses and rose buds from Wild Orchid with stickpins and painted over the flowers with glossy accents.
