6th Blog Anniversary Candy

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

On the 24th February 2011 I tentatively started my blog!

What an amazing adventure I have had so far, I have made lots of lovely friends from all around the world and even been very lucky to visit one of my friends over in America.

I feel so blessed to have made such wonderful friends who are so very talented and inspired me to continue creating and sharing with you all.

During that time I have worked for some amazing companies and this year started designing my own papers and ephemera and selling them on my Etsy shop.  Thank you for purchasing and I hope you get as much enjoyment in using them as I do.

You will never know how much over the past 6 years you have all helped me over difficult personal times and for that I can't thank you enough.

To celebrate 6 years I have blog candy for 6 lucky winners.
The winners will be chosen by Random Org on Friday 24th February
Good Luck!

To be in with a chance of winning please do the following:

1. Follow my blog!
2. Like my Facebook Page - Click on the Link
3. Please leave a comment.
4. Add your name to Mr Linky.

As always thank you for visiting my blog

Haberdashery Creativity

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I love anything to do with haberdashery even though I am only just learning how to sew.
I can cross stitch, embroider, knit and crochet, what can you do?

Anything to do with haberdashery in crafting, i.e. stamps, papers, toppers etc I just have to buy. I have 8 jars full of buttons and even inherited my mother in laws button tin :)

Today my card is made using a topper from Hobby House.

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card from Anna Marie Designs.
2. Matted and layered patterned paper from the 12 x 12 Authentic paper pad, distressed around the first layer with DI ground espresso and the second layer with Victorian Velvet.
3. Matted and layered the topper which I have distressed the edges with DI ground espresso onto another piece of patterned paper.
4. Added 2 strips of ribbon from my stash, thimble and thread, tape measure.
5. To finish off I added the scissors and dotted pearl gems around the page.

Hyacinth

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A very early start this morning as I am off to Birmingham for the Trade show.

Nikky over at Polkadoodles released some new digi's called Darling Buds, I just fell in love with them and had to buy the set, you get the digi, coloured image and a file of sentiments, how good is that!

For this card I have used Hyacinth the pre-coloured image as I haven't had time to colour up the digi although they have been printed off.

Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square shaped card base
2. Cut out different size circles using purple polka dot and blue polka dot.
3. Matted and layered white circular doily.
4. Created background using one of my programmes and added Hyacinth, cut out then matted and layered with foam pads.
5. Cut out in blue pearlescent card the romantic vines and arranged around the image.
6. To finish off I added the flowers, butterfly and blue gems.
