Dude Time Doodles September New Release & Blog Hop

Where is this year going, end of August already but no worries today is the day for the New Releases from Dude Time Doodles New Release and Blog Hop.

I hope you participate and leave some fab comments on your hop to each of the design team's magnificent creations of the new releases and don't forget to leave comments as one of us is the Mystery Hostess.  I know I will. :)  If you have arrived from Sammibug you are on the right track.

From the New Releases I have used Cleeve Climber and I hope you like what I have done with him.

I have used a sheet of backing paper from The Best of K & Company Too, which has some amazing papers and this one in particular (map of America) just leapt out at me to use with Cleeve.  I covered the front of an A5 card, I have rounded all 4 corners using my Xcut paper corner punch.  Using my Oval Spellbinder dies I have cut out the shapes for Cleeve and the Sentiment.  Cleeve has been coloured in with my watercolour pencils and the edges distressed with Dew Drop Brilliance pigment ink in Galaxy Gold.  The sentiment I have printed off using my graphics programme and distressed all over using the above ink.  The compass is one that I have printed off from the internet and distressed it a little to give it a grubby look.
