Vines of Passion

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday.  I got up extra early today as Hels Sheridan was on at 8.00 am with the Melt Pot and as you know this is my new favourite crafting toy!  I sent in an email with a photograph of this and it was shown on Create and Craft with the lovely Hels and Deano.

Today's make is a heart shaped trinket box which I have decorated. I think this would make an ideal gift for a female relative, what do you all think?

I have painted the box with Pebeo acrylic paint and then once dried I painted over with Cosmic Shimmer Mica Paint in copper.
The lemon lace I have gathered with needle and thread to make a ruffle and adhered to the lid
The heart is made with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel and WOW Embossing Powder in Copper and the Spellbinder Shapeability D-Lites Vine of Passion die.  To make the design of the heart pop I have used Creative Expression Metallic Guilding Wax in Gold. See my YouTube video on how I made this.
The stick pins were a gift from Lindsay one of my good blogging friends
I have added a couple of flowers which I have added gems to the centre of each flower.
To finish of the lid I cut the die out and

On the side of the box I have used Spellbinder Shapeabilities D-Lites Floral border die using cream textured card to decorate the side of the box.

Thank you for stopping by Today
Hugs xxxxx
