Blue Poppies

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A lovely day today and spending time putting my paint fusion pieces onto cards which I made whilst I was at Kath's on Wednesday.  I love paint fusion and teaching Kath was great.  I love poppies but decided this time to do blue ones!

I know there are blue poppies and they have a name but for the life of me I can't remember what they are called.  So if you know please leave a comment and let me know what they are called.

Recipe

1. Stepper card made with pearlescent cream card.
2.  The poppies have been painted onto mount board which has been distressed with a mixture of paints and PVA glue.  I then painted the poppies (Sheena Douglass' Paint Fusion Stamp Set) with Pebeo Acrylic paints and embossed over 2 of the poppies with WOW Platinum Sparkle embossing powders.  I embossed the edges too.  I then stamped some swirls in Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks  I then sponged weathered wood distress ink all over the topper and attached to the card.
3.  I have wrapped silver grey ribbon around the base card and added a birthday sentiment and a couple of swirls which have been inked with Distress Ink weathered wood.

Thank you for stopping by Today
Hugs xxxxx
