Silhouette Grasses

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Another quick post this morning as I am off to see my friend Kath and will be staying overnight.  We have a day of crafting planned too.

My card today is made using Sheena Douglass' Silhouette Grass embossing folder.

Recipe

1. A5 scalloped white card
2. First layer is background I have made using a rule and distress inks
3. I embossed the image onto the reverse of pearlescent card and distressed with Broken China once dry I then swept over with Stazon Stone Gray.
4. I punched out butterflies from a sheet of silver card which I have brayered with Diamond Sparkle Medium.
5. To finish off I added the pearl bead spray and roses.

Thank you for stopping by Today
Hugs xxxxx

  14. Hi Linda. This is such a lovely card and I am very impressed by the way you've tackled that background in particular. Unfortunately the challenge at Our Creative Corner asked for the use of just three colours - brown, blue and purple, not a choice of any plus other colours. As you've included Stone Grey in the list if colours used I'm afraid we won't be able to include your entry in the prize drawn this time. I do hope you'll be able to join us for future challenges though. Jenny x
