Imagine!

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How has your weekend been so far?  Had a lovely chill out yesterday colouring in images for DT work, I find this so therapeutic don't you?

Today's card I have entered into the colour challenge over on Mad Crafter's Giggle Facebook Group.  I do love this stamp.  I was tempted to add embellishments but decided in the end to leave it as you see it.

Recipe

1. 7 x 7 square card.
2. First layer is Kraft card which I have inked the edges with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.
3. The topper is watercolour card which I have inked with Squeezed Lemon, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge and inked the edges with Brushed Corduroy.  I stamped the bird which is one of Sheena Douglass from her Little Bit Magical stamp set with Vintage Sepia Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I then coloured with waterbrush and Brushed Corduroy.
4. To finish off I used the Imagine stamp from Visible Image, this was stamped with Versafine and embossed.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

The Doodle Garden #1 - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug Blog - Anything Goes
Flat Friends Challenge - Cards 4 Men
Delicious Doodles Challenge #77 - One for the Boys
Sister Act Card Challenge #46 - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting today
Hugs xxxxx

Hi there Linda,a stunning card, the image is beautiful, I think you were right in not adding any more detail, less is more. The colours draw your attention to the bird in the centre beautifully.

Fabulous Linda, you know me I usually put everything but the kitchen sink on to my cards, but this looks so elegant with just the colour and the image.

I hope to see some of that colour in Mexico very soon, looks a lot nicer than the horrible grey skys we have at the moment.
