Key to my Heart

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

First of all I want to say a very BIG THANK YOU and welcome to all my new followers.
I finally hit 1001 followers, how exciting is that?

I had a brilliant time with Kath yesterday learning a new technique she had learnt when she attended an Andy Skinner Class in August.  Please pop over to Kath's Blog to see what she created they are fabulous!

Just a quick reminder about my blog candy which is here.

Here is what I made.

This is an MDF Heart.
First we ripped embossed card into stripes and position over the heart leaving a gap in the centre.
Painted it black, once this was dried we added flat back pearls around the tear and swept across with white paint using a dry brush.
I then painted the centre with Pebeo Iridescent paint.
We did use other paint but not sure of the name as they were Kaths, this gives a rust effect.
To finish off I added a key to the centre, attached a chain with a cabochon heart.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Not Just Cards Challenge #3- Anything Goes
ABC-Challenge - U is for Unique - Anything Goes
Altered Eclectics - Anything Goes with Mixed Media
Rhedds Creative Spirit - Halloween or Not

Many thanks for stopping by Today
