Altered Jar

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well that is the holiday season over!

I have made a list of project I want to do, along with different techniques.
Today I am sharing with you one of the projects I have on my list.

As you know I am off to Florida in June to meet my Gone Artsy DT friends.
I wanted something to start saving my money in and I had this Kilner jar lying around so I have decorated it with items from Gone Artsy Zibbet shop.

I first covered around the Jar with Paper from the Time Travellers Prima Collection/
Over this I added lace from Gone Artsy
I then cut down the roses which come in ½ yard increments and adhered to the front.
I painted a tiny peg pink and made a tag and wrote Florida Fund onto the tag.

On the opposite sides I attached pink roses and wrapped rose and beaded trim around the top.

I then painted 3D glitter gel on the roses.

On the lid I attached a white doily, roses all around the top and added the bird.

Many thanks for visiting Today
