Blessings Jar

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A busy morning but managed to get quite a bit done.
Going to spend the rest of the day colouring up some images for DT work.

I am sharing my blessings Jar I made for the event over on Chic Craftique.


This is a screw top jar I got for £1. 
I wrapped Prima Timeless Traveler paper all around the bottom of the Jar.
I then wrapped lace around and attached bead trip to the top.
On the topper I added the word Blessings as well a words which relate for me what this jar will mean for me.
I then added the steampunk metal clock and cogs.


I didn't add anything else around the jar as I didn't want to detract from the beautiful lace and paper.


On the lid I wrapped brown ribbon around the rim and cream lace and a pearl cabachon at the join.
I cut out a circle of the Prima Timeless Traveller paper stuck this to the top of the lid, added a cream doily.
To finish off I added an assortment of Roses and 3 metal leaves from my stash.

  8. I'm taking notes of what you do to your fab jars etc Linda. When I get my craft room back I've got some glass jars and other containers I've saved which I intend to alter. Love this jar x
