Stamps by Me Happy Birthday

Good Evening Crafty Friends,

Sharing with you another sample using the brand new dies and stamps from Stamps by Me.

Toni will be on Create and Craft on Saturday at 8.00 am, 1.00 pm and 9.00 pm.

I do hope you will join her or set your recorders.

Here is my sample using one of the new dies and stamp sets. I have also used 2 of the die sets from her previous shows which you can find on the website.


Step by Step

1. A5 cream card base.
2. Matted and layered brown pearlescent card.
3. Cut out the frame using one of my shaving foam backgrounds.
4. Stamped the flowers and sentiment from the Be Glamorous stamp set with Versafine and embossed then coloured with my markers.
5. To finish off cut out the flourish and lily dies with patterned paper.

Always Follow your Dreams

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A couple of errands to run this morning and then some last minute projects to finish.

Sharing with you another card using the new Synergy Dies and Stamps from Stamps by Me

This stamps set is called "Follow your Dreams"


Step by Step

1. A5 white base card.
2. First layer is shaving foam background using purple inks.
3. Cut out the frame and the inside with white card.
4. Stamped the poppies and coloured with Faber Castell watercolour pencils.  Once dry added splats.
5. To finish off stamped the sentiment and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Exploding Box

Good Morning Crafty Friends

I hope you are all well.  Today I am off to Kath's for our usual arty crafty day.

Today I am sharing with you one of my samples for Toni's show on Saturday on Create and Craft at 8.00 am, 1.00 pm and 9.00 pm.

The quality of the stamps and dies are amazing! Check out Stamps by Me website to see what other amazing stamps and dies they have! You definitely won't be disappointed.

I created an exploding box using the build a flower die, Best wishes tag, Thankful For and Oh Happy Day new stamp sets 




The tag has been painted with black Gesso and then stamped the new Follow your Dreams stamp set.
I stamped with Versafine and embossed with white embossing powder, painted the poppies with mica powder. Added white and red ribbon to the top.

Echo

I love Greek mythology and checked out google as I was sure I had heard of a nymph called Echo, and there she was, she was cursed by Hera, Zeus' wife! She could only repeat the last word anyone said.

A busy morning here today, food shopping and other errands to run before I can get into the craft room.

Today a new card using images from Hunkydory's Flight of the Butterflies card kit.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card from Anna Marie Designs, I have used an inverted corner punch.
2. First layer is cream foiled card from my stash.
3. Matted and layered card and image from the card kit!
4. To finish off added the sentiment, grey pearls and the sentiment.

Digi Doodle Studios - Dahlia Blooms

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Happy Bank Holiday to you all!

I have had rather a very busy weekend doing samples for Toni's next shows on Create and Craft!

All I can say is WOW you are going to love them!

Today it is my turn to share my project using Dahlia Blooms from Digi Doodle Studios

I have used the following Copic's to colour this image.

Skin - E53, E51, E50, R93
Hair - E40, E43, E35
Bird Box - E33, E34, E35
Hat and Flowers - R35, R37, R39
Bow and Flowers - B26, B28, B29
Flowers - YR23, Y15, Y17
Leaves - YG09, G07


Step by Step

1. Cut out large circle base card using SB Grande Circle Die to create an easel card.
2. For the base cut out red circle card and patterned scalloped card.
3. For the front of the card cut out red and blue card.
4. Printed out image and coloured with Copic markers using the above colours then cut out with SB circle die.
5. To finish off cut out the bunting, dragonflies and added sentiment.  I have added gems to the bodies of the dragonflies.

Poppies

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Just over a week and off on my holiday with hubby!

We are off to Malta this year for a change, with my Dad being in the Royal Marines and stationed in Malta I was born there and haven't been back for a few years.  The first time I went back as an adult was surreal, it felt like I was going home!

Anyway today I am sharing a card using IndigoBlu Dinkie Poppy Stamp  and Script Stamp


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered black card to base.
3. Cut a piece of watercolour card and took a circle stencil and stamped the script with Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then distressed inside the circle with Distress Oxide Candied Apple.
4. I then stamped the poppies along the bottom masking the poppies as I went along, embossed with clear embossing powder and then coloured with Luscious powders.
5. To finish off I added the birthday sentiment.

Merry Christmas

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Well as you will no doubt surmise Saturday is my Christmas card post.
I really have been very slack this year with creating my Christmas cards.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend whatever you have planned.

Today is the last of my Christmas creations from Maria Simms Preston workshop last year.

I have used the following Clarity Stamp products:


I also used Distress Inks, Versamark and White Embossing powder


To finish off I matted and layered onto blue card onto a dark silver A5 base card.
The sentiment is from my stash.

Because of you...

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

WOW this week sure has gone quick!

Time flies when you are having fun don't you think?

Today another card to share using the Flight of the Butterflies by Hunkydory


Step by Step

1. A5 cream card base.
2. Matted and layered bronze pearlescent card and patterned card.
3. Before adhering to base card added cream organza ribbon around both layers.
4. Matted and layered the toppers, the sentiment topper has been matted and layered with foam pads for dimension.
5. To finish off added the flower and leaf which I made using cream and pink flower ribbon and added a cabochon to the centre.

Star Burst!

As you all know I have been acrylic pouring since June when I visited my friend Deb in Florida.

Today I am sharing a short video I have made making a dirty pour.

Thinking of you!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, 

Today I am off to Kath's not sure what we will be creating with today but looking forward to getting messy and mucky paws.  Of course we don't just craft we also have a good natter over coffee, no cakes as we are on a diet! 

Today sharing the last of the cards I made at last month's workshop with Maria Simms.
She takes the workshop in Preston and if you are interested please message her on Facebook.

Here is a list of the stamps we used:

I used Distress Ink, squeezed marmalade, evergreen bough and vintage photo. I masked the owl and created the background.
I coloured the owl with Faber Castel pencils


I finished it off at home by adding the sentiment and matting it onto white card distressing the edges in evergreen bough.

Trinket Box

Red Roses

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope you are well

Did you see Toni yesterday? Wasn't the samples amazing from my DT teamies.
Toni is on again today at 1.00 pm for one show!

I can thoroughly recommend these dies and stamps they are fabulous!

Today sharing another of my samples for Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. Joined 2 6 x 6 white square cards and scored the front of both cards in half to create a double gatefold.
2. On the inside I matted and layered black and red card.
3. The topper I stamped the sentiments with Versafine and clear embossed then stamped the larger roses from the Much Loved Friends stamp set.
4. For both front panels I first adhered black ribbon to both sides before matting and layering black and red card.
4. I then stamped the roses with Distress Oxides in lucky clover and fired brick.
5. To finish off I added splats to all toppers and added dragonflies to each panel.

Digi Doodle Studios - Heather

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Monday already!  I hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend.

Today sharing another beautiful digital image from Digi Doodle Studios

This time I have used the super cute Heather

Don't forget on your first order you get 10%!


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white square base card.
2. Madded and layered green adorable scorable card and blue and silver card.
3. Before adhering to base card wrapped white lace across the middle.
4. Printed Heather and coloured with my Copic Markers, I then cut out with SB Grande Rectangle die before matting and layering onto green card.
5. To finish off I added a flourish, flowers, sentiment and pearl gems.

Stamps by Me Wreath

Good Morning Crafty Friends

How are you all today?

Tomorrow Toni, from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft with brand new stamps and dies at 1.00 pm and 9.00 pm.

Here is one of my samples using the Detailed Flourish and Build a Flower 1 and 2 dies and new Sentiment stamps


Step by Step

1. Using Spellbinder Grande Scalloped Circle cut out 2 pieces, sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Dragonfly, once this has dried cut out a circle and of white card stamp the sentiment with black Archival, adhere both pieces with the sentiment between each pieces.
2. Cut out using the detailed flourish die in 2 different greens and adhere around the wreath.
3. Cut out the build a flower 1 and 2 dies with white card, water colour with Generation INX, once dry starting creating your flowers and place around the wreath.
4. To finish off cut out small dragonflies and place around the wreath.

Acrylic Pour Play Day

Evening Crafty Friends, 

Sharing with you my acrylic pours from Wednesday when I went to my friend Kath's

We had a fabulous day pouring and here are my pours from that day.

I have named then all apart from the 2 large ones as I am a bit stumped.

I just need to clean these all of and then varnish!

New Home

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

How are you all today?

Where has this week gone? I can't believe it is Friday already.

Today a new home card using the home sweet home stamp set from Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. A5 hammered white card base.
2. I brushed over the base card with green ink to highlight the texture of the card.
3. Matted and layered blue pearlescent card cut out with SB Grande scalloped oval die.
4. Stamped the image onto watercoloured card and coloured with Generation INX, cut out with oval die and adhered to base card.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and butterfly.
