New Christmas Stencils

One is a set of 3 Christmas Trees and the other is baubles.

In tonight's video I share with you a couple ways in which I have used the Christmas tree stencils.

Winter Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Well today is the last day of November and also the last day where you can get 10% off my website on any products apart from the declutter and sale items.

Today sharing a Christmas card I made using one of the postcard stamps Over the Hill from Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered gold mirri card and green card.
3. For the topper I gave the watercolour card a blue colour wash with Artist Watercolour wheel.
4. Stamped the sentiment and image with Versafine and embossed, I then watercoloured the trees.
5. To finish off I die cut the card and added snow using Enamel Accents in white to trees, background and card.  Last touch was adding a gold star to one of the trees.

Love and Laughter

Good Morning Crafty Friends

Oh my only 2 more days and we are into December!

I had a lovely day yesterday with Kath, I did a lot of stamping and watercolouring images to make into cards.

Today sharing a new card using my Love Heart stencil from Linda Simpson Designs and Love & Laughter stamp and die set from Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. Created stepper base card using white hammered card.
2. Using the Love Heart stencil inked with Generation INX in pink.
3. Stamped the bouquet, sentiment, flowers and leaves then watercoloured with Artist Watercolour wheel. Once dry die cut them out.
4. Adhered the die cuts to the card.
5. To finish off matted and layered the sentiment onto pink card and added one of the small daisies.

Vlog

Good Evening Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing with you my very first VLOG!

This is a diary of what has been happening in my world this month of November.

It is just something I have wanted to try for a while and will be doing another one in December.

If it works then I will continue to do them in 2018.

It gives a little bit of insight to who I am and what has been happening this month.

Let your Dreams... Indigoblu

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

How are you all today?

I am off to visit Kath today for our arty craft day.

Today I am sharing another acrylic pour with you with a twist using IndigoBlu products.


I created the acrylic pour using Gee SSo Good and Metallic and matt paint from IndigoBlu.
I then stamped the butterflies onto the canvas and onto white card.  I then stamped the butterflies onto card and embossed with clear embossing powder before colouring with Luscious Powders, cut out and decoupaged over the stamped images on the canvas.
I then stamped the sentiment from the Victorian Garden stamp set!

Sylvie Ballerina

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope you are all well and had a good weekend.

Rick and I had a rather relaxed chilled weekend after the hectic one last week. We had a lovely visit from our grandson and granddaughter too on Sunday with their parents.

Today it is my turn to share my DT project for Digi Doodle Studios

I have used Sylvie Ballerina for my project.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered blue and patterned card.
3. Added a strip of blue and patterned paper.
4. Printed of Sylvie coloured with my Copic markers and matted and layered onto blue card.
5. To finish off added the sentiment and flowers to 2 of the corners.

Christmas Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Apologies as I have yet another Christmas card to share which will be appearing regularly for a while yet.

What are your plans for today?
I am going to be spending the day crafting, not sure what yet but it won't be Christmas!

Today I have a recycled card to share with you!


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card.
2. Cut out red mirri card using SB Grande circle die.
3. Distressed white doily with Generation INX in green.
4. The topper is from an old Christmas card which I cut out using Grande circle die.
5. To finish off I stamped the poinsettia corners and coloured with Zig Clean Colour Brush Pens.

Canvas Corp Brand - Autumnal Card

Good Evening Crafty Friends,

What a busy day I have had! First was the housework, washing and ironing and then this afternoon I managed to video a couple of videos for December!

Today I am sharing my November project for Canvas Corp Brand.

I decided to make an autumnal card using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, Tattered Angels autumnal paper and white corrugated card.

Step by Step

1. White DL base card.
2. Matted and layered black card.
3. To create the background I used distress oxides peacock feathers, worn lipstick and wild honey.
4. I then stamped the tree and sentiment with Archival Ink and the laminate part of the stamp with red Versafine.
5. To finish off I added pink pearl gems.

Happy Birthday

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Oh my goodness can you believe we are one month away from Christmas Eve.

I still have a few more Christmas cards to finish and then last minute presents to by and wrap. I plan to be all done by 2nd weekend in December. How are you getting on with your Christmas preparations?

Today sharing a birthday card using Entwined Cats stamp set from Clarity.
I made the topper for this card at one of Maria's workshops


Step by Step

1. Created an A5 card by scoring brown A4 card in half.
2. Matted and layered embossed rust coloured card.
3. To create the topper I used my circle Gelli plate and brayered ink then stamped some leaves before laying the card down which left the textured print. I stamped the cat, sentiment and paw prints with Archival ink. To finish off the topper I brushed top and bottom in DI scattered straw. I then created a black line around the topper using my black Sharpie pen.
4. Wrapped gold ribbon around the layers before adhering to base card.
5. To finish off I added the daisies to the ribbon.

Kaleidoscope of Butterflies

Good Morning Crafty Friends

I hope that you are all keeping well, can't believe it is Thursday already.

We are off to visit my parents this morning and then fingers crossed in the craft room this afternoon finishing off my Christmas cards for this year!

Today I am sharing with you a mixed media canvas, I hadn't done a canvas for a while and really enjoyed making this which now sits on the wall on my landing wall.


Here are a couple of close up pictures.

  

I gave the canvas a good coat of Gesso once this was dry I then used the Imagination Craft Structure paste on the wall, flourish and leaves stencil.
Once this was dry I then added frames, butterflies and flowers. I then added butterfly trails using the Prima stone balls and clear tiny beads.
Once this was all dry I spritzed gold and red Tattered Angels glimmer mists. 
To finish off I then dry brushed with gold metallic paint.

Valued Friend

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

How are you all today? What are your plans?

Me I am making Christmas cards for family and friends.

I made this double easel card using the Valued Friend stamp and die set from Stamps by Me 




Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square base card and a 4 x 4 base card.
2. On the 8 x 8 I matted and layered green card to the inside and green and yellow to the front. On the 4 x 4 I matted and layered yellow for the inside and yellow and green to the front.
3. On watercolour card I stamped the flowers coloured with Zig pens, on a separate piece of water colour card I stamped the same image as well as the flower heads and leaves then coloured with Zig pens then die cut.
4. I adhered the 4 x 4 card to centre of larger easel card, stamped the sentiment and adhered to the front of smaller easel. The small flowers and leaves I used as a stopper and decoration.
5. To finish off I added the second larger bunch to the larger easel.

Altered Paint Brush

Sharing a quick CAS card using Inkylicious  playful cats stamps


Step by Step

1. A6 white card base.
2. Matted and layered pink card.
3. To create the topper I used Inkylicious stencil with circles and distressed one circle in DI Picked Raspberry and the other Ripe Persimmon.
4. I then stamped the sentiment and cats using Versafine ink.
5. To finish off I stamped the butterflies in picked raspberry and ripe persimmon then added pink gems to the corners.

Rosie Cupcake

Good Morning Crafty Friends

I hope that you have all had a wonderful weekend.

The house is back to normal now that the wood flooring has been laid and all windows clean.

I am over the moon that everything is back where it should be and loving our new chairs.

Today it is my turn to share with you my DT project for Digi Doodle Studios

Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square base white card.
2. Matted and layered deep orange and pale green card which has been embossed.
3. Matted and layered deep orange and patterned paper down the left hand side.
4. Printed off Rosie and coloured her with my Copics before matting and layering onto deep orange card.
5. Made a double bow and added the silver cup cake charm.
6. To finish off added the sentiment and pearl gems to one corner and on to cupcake.

Cherished Memories

Good Morning Crafty Friends

Woohoo, all done and finished so today I can get some crafting done.
I desperately need to get my Christmas cards finished now and make a start on some videos.

Today Toni from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft at 1 pm.

Today's card is one I made for her new release a couple of weeks ago. I used the Cherished Memories stamp and die set.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped edge square base card.
2. Using the Square Peg stencil from my website I distressed onto the base card using Generation INX Blue.
3 I then stamped the flowers and die cut using the corresponding dies.
4. I then coloured with Zig Clean Colour brush pens.
5. To finish off I then adhered to the card base and stamped the sentiment.

Thanks a Bunch

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

and relax! Everything is put back in its rightful place and we are so happy with how it has all come together. The new recliner massage chairs are wonderful. I spent all yesterday getting the windows cleaned, curtains put back up and all my ornaments, glasses, books and videos back!

Today is all about crafting!

Today Toni from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft at 5 pm and then on Sunday at 1 pm.
She will have the beautiful "Just the right words" dies and stamps that work perfectly with the dies.

I was on holiday when they first appeared so didn't make any samples but here is something I made to show you how beautiful they are.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square scalloped edge base card.
2. Matted and layered black and pink card.
3. Stamped the "valued friend" stamp with Versafine then embossed, I then used the coordinating die to cut out and adhered to pink card.
4. I then die cut the word "thanks" from the die set and then stamped the "a bunch".
5. To finish off I coloured the flowers and leaves with Faber Castell pencils, then stencilled the hearts from my Love Heart stencil which you can find over on my website.

Deer Wood

Good Morning Crafty Friends, 

A very busy day today, cleaning windows, putting furniture back in their places and finish the housework now that everything is all done.

The new flooring looks fabulous and we are so pleased to finally be getting back to normal it has been a long 4 weeks.

Today sharing a winter's card with you using IndigoBlu's Deer Wood Stamp.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card with corners punched with X-cut corner punch.
2. Matted and layered navy blue card.
3. To create the background of the topper I used Distress Oxieds, faded jeans, broken china and salty ocean.
4. I then stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then stamped over the image slightly off centre with black Archival ink, this gives a nice shadow effect.
5. To finish off I added white paint splats.

Hexagonals...

Good Morning Crafty Friends, 

I hope you are all keeping well.

Woohoo, the new flooring is being laid today and then I can get back to normal, rearrange the furniture and get my new recliner chairs in the lounge!

It has been a hard 3 weeks living in a mess but it has been worth it :)

I am sharing with you today another of my new stencils which you can purchase off my website.


Step by Step

1. Octagonal scalloped edge white base card.
2. Adhere the hexagonal mask with low tack masking tape.
3. Distress with Distress Oxide wilted violet and remove stencil.
4. Stamp the flowers from "So Thoughtful stamp set from Stamps by Me, I then coloured with Zig Clean Colour Brush Pens.
5. To finish off stamped the sentiment with Versafine.

Mixed Media Tag

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

How are you all today, midway through the week already.

I am excited as my new wood flooring gets laid tomorrow and then I can finally get back to normal (or as normal as I can be)

Last weekend Toni from Stamps by Me had this new Love and Laughter die and stamp set on and I made this mixed media tag.


Step by Step

1. 61/4 by 31/4 MDF tag.
2. Using Tim Holtz wall stencil and Liquitex modeling paste created the wall background.
3. I then gave it a coat of brown paint once this was dry, dry brushed teal over the raised areas.
4. Stamped the bouquet, flowers and leaves then die cut, I then painted with water colour.
5. To finish off I added the ribbon.
