June Vlog - Florida

Good Evening Crafty Friends,

Well I had another fabulous holiday with Deb in Florida.

Swimming, drinking and eating good food.
I even did two classes of aqua aerobics too!

Sharing some photographs and of course video snippets of my stay.

Conie Fong Bella Rose

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Still feeling a bit jet lagged this morning but doing okay.

Going to spend the day with Rick today and catching up on jobs around the house.
It is nice to be home and see my fur babies who I have missed along with hubby of course.

Today sharing another GDT card for Conie Fong. I have used Bella Rose you can purchase this image along with a whole lot more over in Conie Fongs Etsy Store.

Below are the Copic's I have used to colour Bella Rose:

Skin - E50, E51, E53
Hair - C10, C08, C06, RV25
Dress R35, R37, R39
Roses - RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered black and dark red card.
3. Printed image and coloured with above Copics, cut out with SB Labels 25 then matted and layered onto black card.
4. Added white flourishes and pink and red roses along one side of card.
5. To finish off I added black gems to 2 corners.

Haberdashery Canvas

Good Evening Crafty Friends

How are you this evening?

I hope you are having a wonderful week as I have had at the beginning of the week.

I am back home now after a fabulous 2 weeks with Deb in Florida.

Tonight sharing a Haberdashery canvas using just some of the gorgeous goodies that Bette Jacob sent me in Happy Mail.

I have used IndigoBlu acrylic paints, GeeSso good and Slap it on.

Live, Laugh, Love

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Well hopefully only a couple of hours before I land.

I hope you are all well and wishing you all a wonderful day.

I will catch up with you all and thank you for your comments while I have been away.

Today sharing with you a card using a very old stamp from Chocolate Baroque called Parfum de Paris


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered orange and brown card.
3. I stamped the image with WOW embossing ink pad and used White embossing powder.
4. I then used Distress Inks carved pumpkin, scattered straw and rusty hinge to create the background I then distressed around the topper with vintage photo.
5. The flowers were made from mopping up the excess ink and cutting out a leaf and flowers.
6. I stamped the sentiment and added pearl gems to the centres of the flowers to finish off.

Remember When?

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

How are you all today?

Well I where has the 2 weeks gone? I am travelling home today after having another fabulous holiday with Deb.  I will land in the UK at 8.20 am and looking forward to seeing Rick and my fur babies.

Sharing a male card using ephemera from my Nostalgia toppers which can be found over on my website.


Step by Step

1. A5 white base card.
2. Matted and layered brown polka dot card and newspaper print card from my stash.
3. Adhered the ephemera with foam pads for dimension to base card.
4. Added the sentiment and small ephemera from my stash.
5. To finish off added 3 brown card candy.

June Mini Mission - Open

I have created this project by using my Tag Journal.

Oh my where has this 2 weeks gone?

I have had the most amazing holiday again with Deb and Paul.

Birthday Bouquet

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that this post finds you all well.

Well my time here in the USA with Deb is nearly up, only a couple more days and I make the journey home on Wednesday.

These 2 weeks have flown but I have had a wonderful time as always.

A new card to share with you today.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 patterned deckle edge card base from stash.
2. Matted and layered a doily which was distressed with tattered rose Distress Oxide.
3. Matted and layered the topper and frame.
4. Added gold pearl gems to 2 corners.
5. To finish off added the birthday sentiment.

Lavender & Lace

Good Evening Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog and thank you for your support and comments.

Another change to the schedule as I am away I have a canvas to share instead of my usual Vlog.

This canvas has been made using predominately Imagination Crafts products which can be found over on the Crafter's Companion website.

As you all know I LOVE purple and when I saw this rice paper image I knew I would use it on a canvas.  I have used Starlight metallic paints, Starlight texture paste, Alcemy wax and other products too.

Whimsy Teddy Birthday Presents

WOW I have been in America a week and time sure does fly when you are having fun.

A card using the Teddy birthday presents from Whimsy Stamps.


Step by Step

1. DL white base card.
2. Matted and layered orange and blue polka dot card.
3. Stamped teddy and coloured with Copic markers and matted and layered onto purple card.
4. To finish off added the two die cut corners which have been coloured with SN glitter pens and the sentiment.

Vintage Car

Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope all is well with you while I am having a wonderful time on holiday.

Today a vintage male card to share.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered texture card, embossed card which I have used distress oxides in wild honey, vintage photo and walnut stain. 
3. The black card is embossed compass and matted and layered vintage car over.
4. I then added the pocket watch and cogs.
5. To finish off added the metal cog and birthday sentiment.

No matter where...

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope you are all well and had a wonderful weekend.

My card today is using the floral splendour 7 stencil from Stamps by Me.
I have used the negative from a previous  card I made.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 fancy shaped white base card.
2. Matted and layered dark purple card.
3. The topper is the negative from a previous card, I have replaced the stencil and using Carved Pumpkin distress oxide to the flowers. I then stamped the butterflies using wilted violet.
4. Stamped the sentiment and texture around the page using Archival ink.

Father's Day

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Wishing my dad a Happy Father's day!

Here is my card I made for my own dad for Father's Day.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered black and cream card.
3. Stamped the map with Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder I then distressed with Forest Moss DI and added splats of water.
4. Stamped the car and sentiment with Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder, coloured my card with metallic pens.
5. To finish off I distressed the sentiment with DI forest moss.

ATCoins - Fly High

Good Evening Crafty Friends,

As you all know I am on holiday visiting Deb in Florida so for the next 2 Saturday's there will not be any vlogs. Upon my return I will have an extra long vlog sharing with you my holiday.

This week I have my first ever ATCoins to share with you.
I have used predominately IndigoBlu products and created 3 male themed coins.

Geranium

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend.

Today sharing a card using the beautiful geranium from the Flora & Fauna stamp set from Chocolate Baroque


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white scalloped front square base card.
2. Matted and layered deep pink card and the next layer is an oxide background created from mop up using worn lipstick, carved pumpkin, peacock feathers and evergreen bough.
3. Stamped image onto watercolour card, watercoloured around the image and coloured with SN glitter pens and Zig water brush pens.
4. Matted and layered image onto pink card cut using SB scalloped oval die.
5. To finish off stamped the sentiment and added the butterfly.
