I have a very busy month next month with workshops and visit to the NEC which I haven't done for a number of years.

Shabby Chic

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A few errands to run this morning and then I go and get weighed.

Fingers are crossed I get to loose this week, we will see.

A new card to share using products from my stash, a bit of shabby chic.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white scalloped edge square base card.
2. Matted and layered Kraft card and patterned card which have been distressed with scissors and DI ground espresso before adhered to base card at an angle.
3. Matted and layered topper onto doily which have been distressed with DI ground espresso.
4. Added lace flowers and pearl gems to centres.
5. To finish off I added a paper clay Prima flourish mold.

Conie Fong Angel Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Wednesday already and only one more day in February.

Today sharing a card I made using Conie Fong's Angel Wishes.

I have used the following Copics to colour the image:

Skin - E50, E51, E53
Hair - E43, E44, E47
Flowers - FYG2, FY1, FY2, FBG2
Wings - B000, B01, B04
Dress - BV000, BV00, BV01

Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered turquoise, lilac and sky card.
3. Printed angel, coloured with above Copics and fussy cut out.
4. Added sentiment "get well soon"
5. To finish off I added 3 gem hearts.

Morning Crafty Friends,

A busy day here lots of forward planning for both blog and You Tube as March is going to be very busy on the family front.

Can you believe there are only 2 days left in February, time does fly when you are having fun.

Today sharing a new card using Chocolate Baroques Medici Flower stamp.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered black card.
3. Created the topper using Distress Oxides black soot, tumbled glass and festive berries, I then stamped and embossed the flower with WOW embossing powder.
4. Stamped flower again, watercoloured and cut out to create dimension before matting and layering onto red card.
5. To finish off matted and layered the word believe onto red card.

Let's Drive

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

The weekend is over and Monday morning has come around very quickly as usual.

Today lots of DT work to finish off and get ready for posting.

Sharing a male card using items from my stash.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered green card and mechanical card from Kanban.
3. Matted and layered car topper onto dark green card. I have distressed the edges of the topper with DI ground espresso.
4. To finish off I added small wooden cog embellishments.

Autumn Enchantment

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Hope you are all having a good weekend so far.

Finishing touches to DT samples today before photographing and getting them ready to post out tomorrow and then a bit of crafting for me.

Today sharing with you a new card made using the beautiful Autumn Enchantment from The Paper Shelter

I have used the following Copics to colour this image:

Skin - E50, E51, E53, R20
Hair - E11, E13, E15, E18
Dress - YG93, YG95, YG97
Wings - YG21, YG23, YG25
Slippers - E13, E15, E18
Acorn Leaves - E25, E27, E29
Spica Pens were used the the headdress, stick and necklace.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 cream square base card.
2. Matted and layered taupe pearlescent card and green and gold foiled card.
3. Printed the image and coloured with above Copic's cut out SB die and matted and layered onto green polka dot card.
4. Added the 3 butterflies from my stash.
5. To finish off added the sentiment "Thinking of You"

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

What are you all up too today?

I will be finishing off secret projects today and then out this afternoon for our routine walk.

Sharing with you a new card using stamps from the craft magazine Simply Cards &  Papercraft issue 187.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 cream square base card.
2. Matted and layered brown card.
3. To create background sky I used Distress Oxides tumbled glass and stormy sky with a cloud stencil.
4. I stamped the branch and sentiment with Archival Ink Coffee.
5. The bird was stamped and then die cut before adhering to base card.

Kind Hearts...

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Friday already and a lot to get done today.

I have quite a few videos to do plus editing, uploading and some admin work.

Today another card using Garden Heart stamp set from Clarity Stamp.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped edge square base card.
2. Matted and layered pearlescent green card.
3. To create background I used Artistry Inks dry weed, pampas and earth song.
4. I stamped the heart and embossed with copper embossing powder, the sentiment has been embossed with bark embossing powder.
5. To finish off I have added gold pearl gems.

A couple of errands this morning before weigh in.

This afternoon I am going to chill out and have a read I think just for a change after our daily walk.

A quick card to share today using Hobby House Elisabeth Bell topper.


Step by Step

1. A5 white base card.
2. Matted and layered navy blue card and polkadot pale blue card.
3. Distressed around topper with DO stormy sky and adhered to base card with foam pads.
4. Added lace and burlap trim with pearl trim.
5. To finish off added 2 pearl gems to corners.

Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered purple pearlescent card.
3. To create background using Distress Oxides broken China, fossilised amber and dusty concord.
4. Stamped the flowers and sentiment with Versafine and embossed.
5. To finish off coloured flowers with SN glitter pen.

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered black card.
3. To create background I have used the Gelli plate, Viva Decor paints and Leonie's frameless stencil.
4. I then stamped the scene using Clarity Stamp set, Versafine and clear embossing powder.
5. To finish off I stamped the sentiment.

Mother's Day

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

What are your plans for this week?

A visit to my parents is planned as it will be their birthdays this weekend.

A Mother's day card to share with you today, Mother's day here in the UK is on 31st March.


Step by Step

1. 8 inch scalloped round white base card.
2. Mat and layered brown pearlescent card cut out with SB Grande circle die.
3. Created the background with DO cracked pistachio, ground espresso and picked raspberry then cut out with SB Grande circle die.
4. Cut out the rice paper butterfly which I adhered to copy paper so to create dimension.
5. To finish off I added butterfly trail with gold Just Pearls and sentiment.

Amelia

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Sunday already and managed to get quite a bit done yesterday.

A couple more video's to do today and some admin too.

Today's card is made using Polkadoodles Amelia.

I have coloured with the following Copics:

Hair - YR24, YR27, YR29
Skin - E50, E51, E53, R20
Dress - B12, B14, B16, Y13, Y15, Y17
Shoes - E25, E27


Step by Step

1. A5 cream base card.
2. Mat and layered blue and patterned card.
3. Printed off Amelia, coloured with above Copics, cut out with SB Curved Rectangle die and distressed around the edges with Archival leaf green.
4. Arranged the die cut leaves around the image which have been distressed with leaf green ink.
5. To finish off added blue pearl gems to the corners.

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

What are you up too today?

Rick and I will be off out later for our walk, really proud of myself making sure I go out everyday for an hour walking. I am getting some fresh air and away from my desk, also feel refreshed when I get home also helping with my weight loss too.

A quirky card today using the Crazy Cats by Tim Holtz.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 cream square base card.
2. Mat and layered embossed bronze card.
3. To create the background on the next layer I used DO wild honey, crushed olive and scattered straw.
4. Stamped, watercoloured cats and cut out then adhered to card.
5. To finish off added the die cut word together.
