Poppies & Daisies

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you have all had a great weekend.

We had a nice relaxing weekend doing a bit of this and that and also went for some nice long walks with Rick.

Sharing with you today a card using the beautiful Floral Decoupage Delights USB to print and cut out with my Scan and Cut.


Step by Step

1. A5 white landscape base card.
2. Matted and layered red and pink patterned card.
3. Printed and cut out the poppies and daisies.
4. Decoupaged the flowers using Pinflair glue gel.
5. To finish off adhered the bouquet to the card and added red gems.

Christmas Card Club #16

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Hope all is well and you have had a good weekend.

It is #16 challenge in our Christmas Card Club today.
Gran Margaret set the theme of Nativity and I have gone for the option of Anything Goes as I don't have anything in my stash pertaining to Nativity.

I have also been recycling old Christmas cards and this is my first for this month.

1. A5 white scalloped edge base card.
2. Matted and layered silver and blue patterned paper.
3. Matted and layered the topper onto silver card.
4. To finish off added the sentiment and 3 punched stars.

Baby Hedgehog

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Pinch and a punch for the first day of the Month!

What are your plans for this weekend? 
I might have a lazy weekend, not too sure yet, we will see what happens after I get back from my walk.

A new card using the cute baby hedgehog from Imagination Crafts Secret Garden collection coloured with my Ink Lily Pens.


Step by Step

1. Brown Octagonal scalloped edge base card.
2. Matted and layered patterned green card and Kraft card.
3. Matted and layered pattern paper 
4. Stamped and cut out the image before colouring with Ink Lily pens.
5. To finish off decoupaged the wasp.

Wherever you go...

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

What do you have planned for today?

My Slimming World meeting is at 10.30 this morning but before then I am off out for another walk, this sure is giving me a lot of pleasure and the blackberries are nearly ready for picking.

Today another card made using the "with all your heart" card kit from Create and Craft.
I have also made the matching envelope too.


Step by Step

1. DL white base card.
2. Matted and layered 2 different shades of blue card.
3. From the kit added the lace pieces, for dimension I have added foam tape.
4. Decoupaged the bouquet and added the sentiment.
5. To finish off added blue gems to the two top corners.

Hippity Hoppity

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Can you believe we are nearly at the end of July!!!
What are your plans for today?

No crafting is planned for today not sure what I will be doing but I know Rick and I are off out for a nice long walk today.

This card is made using the Hare from Imagination Crafts Secret Garden Collection which I have coloured with my Ink Lily pens.


Step by Step

1. A5 white landscape card base.
2. Matted and layered green polka dot card and green pearlescent card then leaf patterned paper.
3. Wrapped Baker's twine around the layers and made a bow.
4. Stamped and coloured hare with Ink Lily pens before matting and layering onto green card.
5. To finish off added iridescent gems to 2 corners.

Shop 'til you Drop

A new card today, the image has been coloured using my Ink Lily pens, the image is from Digi Doodle Studios called Ivy.


Step by Step

1. A5 white landscape base card.
2. Matted and layered red and patterned card.
3. Wrapped red and blue ribbon around both layers before adhering to card base.
4. Printed out image and coloured with Ink Lily markers before matting and layering onto red card.
5. To finish off I added white pearl gems along the ribbon border.

Snowy Christmas

1. 6 x 6 white square base card, created easel card.
2. Base of easel matted and layered dark grey and patterned blue card wrapping silver ribbon around both layers before adhering to base card.
3. Matted and layered same card on front of easel.
4. Matted and layered topper onto silver mirri card.
5. To finish off  stamped sentiment and matted and layered onto dark grey card.

Knowing you makes me Happy

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A busy weekend planned making videos and getting them edited and uploaded.

Rick and I are planning a nice long walk this morning before I get into the craft room.
We have been going for long walks daily and it is surprising how refreshed and invigorated I feel when we get home.

Today sharing a card using the "with all your heart" paper kit from Create & Craft.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered 2 different shades of purple card.
3. Added lace elements from the kit.
4. Decoupaged the floral bouquet and added the sentiment.
5. To finish off added clear gems down the centre of the lace piece and made the envelope to match.

Pointy Petals and Twiddly Essentials

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Another walk planned this morning and then lots of secret DT projects to either finish off or make a start on.

I hope that you are all keeping well and have a lovely day.

Today's card is made using Sheena's Pointy Petals and Twiddly essentials stamps and dies along with Cadence Dora paints.


Step by Step

1. A5 Landscape white base card.
2. Matted and layered black card.
3. Using Willow water colour card I gave the background a colour wash of Dora Mediterranean Sky paint and added black splats
4. Stamped and die cut the leaves, flowers, butterfly and twiddly essential, painted them with gold, green and lilac Dora paint.
5. To finish off I die cut the sentiment Thank You!

Peaceful Picture - Good Luck

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Happy Monday to you all, the weekend sure did fly by but I am all nicely chilled out after having a restful weekend.

This week I am going to be creating some secret DT projects for Imagination Crafts new shows in August.

Sharing a Z fold card today using the beautiful Peaceful Picture decoupage collection by Stephanie Weightman.


Step by Step

1. Created a Z fold card using 7 x 7 cream pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered gold, pink and patterned card on the inside and front fold of the card.
3. Using Manor Garden dies die cut the heart layers and printed out the Charisma floral bouquet then die cut with corresponding dies.
4. Decoupaged the bouquet with Pinflair and arranged over one side of the heart.
5. To finish off added the Good Luck sentiment, gold butterfly and iridescent gems to 2 corners.

Finley on Skies - CCC#15

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

We have had a nice relaxing weekend so far, got a bit wet on our walk yesterday and off out again this morning for another walk, nice to get some fresh air and exercise in too.

It is time to share #15 for Christmas Card Club, I chose the theme this time and I picked penguins. I do love penguins they are just adorable.

A bit of admin to do in the craft room this morning and then going to relax in front of the TV with my knitting.

Peaceful Picture - Best Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A crafting day planned with some of my new stamps after our walk.
Tomorrow is going to be a relaxing day, catching up on my reading and knitting.

Today's card is made using Stephanie Weightman's Peaceful Picture decoupage collection.
I don't usually buy these types of kits but this collection really caught my eye and I had to have it. LOL


Step by Step

1. Card base measures 33/4 by 81/4 cream pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered brown, pink and patterned paper from the USB in this collection.
3. Using Abby Hill die's cut out the circles in brown, pink and patterned card which I have distressed the edges with Archival distress ink.
4. Printed the Charisma floral bouquet out and used the corresponding dies to cut out then decoupaged using Pinflair.
5. To finish off die cut the decorated circles and sentiment and added the metal butterfly with pearls.

Snow Crystal

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Today I have my Slimming World Zoom meeting which I look forward to each week, it is nice to keep in touch with my friends and also keep track of my weight too.

Today sharing with you a new Christmas card using Sheena's Christmas dies and stamps.
I have used Cadence Dora paints to colour the snow flake.


Step by Step

1. Stamped the image onto Willow water colour card leaving a one inch edge to crease then die cut the edge.
2. Coloured the snowflake with Dora blue metallic paint and let dry.
3. Matted and layered silver mirri and white card and attached the snowflake to the card to create an A5 card.
4. Die cut a snow flake to add to the middle of the large snowflake.
5. To finish off stamped the sentiment and stamped snowflakes with Dora pearl which you can just see in the top right hand corner.

Unicorn Girl

Good Morning Friends,

Don't know where this week has gone but it sure has got to Wednesday real quick.

 I am going to spend the day in the craft room creating with my new stamps and dies.
Whatever your plans are have fun and stay safe.

Sharing a new card using another of the digi kits from The Paper Shelter, this is called Glittery and Sparkly. I do love these images.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered yellow and green card.
3. Printed out the backing paper design and the image.
4. Matted and layered onto pink card and decoupaged the image.
5. To finish off added gold stars around the image and gold gems on 2 of the corners.

Sheena's Carnation

Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you all have had a wonderful weekend.

After our walk this morning I will be putting the scan and cut through its paces cutting out a load of flowers from the Floral Decoupage Delights USB, then putting them together to make a card.

Another card to share using Sheena's Flowers of the World and Pigment Inks. Today I have used the Carnation stamp and die set.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered black and pink patterned card.
3. Die cut the tag using very pale blue pearlescent card and added pink organza ribbon to the top.
4. Stamped the carnation, die cut then watercoloured with pigment inks.
5. To finish off stamped and watercoloured the dragonfly before die cutting.
