Cross Stitch Lighthouse

Good Afternoon to all my crafty friends and followers

Well the sun has come out here in Warrington although very windy but a nice change to grey and dismal weather.  I have got some washing out and dried and ironed, result!  I have also been making design sample cards and started to make some Christmas cards too.

Today I am showing you something that I made quite a few years ago.  Before I got seriously into papercraft I was a very serious cross stitcher and always had one on the go.  I have quite a few pieces of my work all over the house and this one is a particular favourite.  It took me about 4 months to make but the result when I had it framed was well worth the time and effort put into this.

I am sorry I can't tell you the make of the Cross Stitch company but don't you think it looks so realistic with the waves crashing against the rocks?  The sky in my opinion looks stunning too.

Thank you for stopping by Today
Hugs xxxxx

Hi Linda what an amazing talent you have. This x-stitch is just stunning. I used to x-stitch, so I know this takes a lot of time. Truly inspirational.

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!
Linda, this is a true work of the heart! I can see why it took so long to finish it and it would have probably taken me at least twice that long!!! It's gorgeous.

Hi Linda

Wow, absolutely stunning!! It does look so realistic!

Unfortunately though it is not an eligible entry in to the Make It Monday linky party as it is not papercraft.

It was so nice to come visit though.
