IndigoBlu Father's Day Inspiration

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing with you some inspiration for Father's Day which is on the 17th June.

The IndigoBlu Design Team are taking part in a Father's Day Blog Hop and created some projects for you to get some inspiration.

We are offering 20% discount on the main Stamp Sets used by the DT.
These sets are a great source for Father's Day and other male themed greeting cards and project.

Below is a list of the stamp sets.

The Draughtsman, Drive Hard, Fly HighTravelling Home, Grand Tour II & III, Steampunkesque, and Circus Alphabet

Use code FD20 to claim 20% discount when checking out on the IndigoBlu website.

This offer is valid up to 17th June 2018.

I have step by step instruction in photographs and words below of the process on creating my own Father's Day card.

Below is a photograph of the products I have used.

I cut a piece of watercolour card to measure 18 x 18 cm, mixed Slap it on with Stroke of Midnight and with a palette knife scraped it across the page.  The using a sponge sponged some IndigoBlu around the page. To finish off I sponged some Ugly Duckling around the edges of the page.

I next stamped the cogs around the page using Archival Ink.
Using the stencil and Ugly Duckling acrylic paint added more detail to the background.

I then stamped the large sentiment from the Travelling Home stamp set with Archival Ink.

Stamped the aeroplanes with Archival Ink and coloured with Luscious Powders,
Poseidon Blue, Penny Dreadful and Verdigris.
I cut them out ready to place on the card with the Father's Day Sentiment.

Finally I coloured around the large sentiment with Penny Dreadful.

I hope that this has inspired you to have a go and please check out the links to my IndigoBlu colleagues who have further inspiration for you to try.

Many thanks for visiting today!
Happy Crafting!
