Mixed Media - ATCoin's

Conie Fong Braids in my Hair

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

The last day of April and this month sure has been a busy one.

Next month is going to be even busier!

Today sharing my DT project for Conie Fong using Braids in my Hair

To colour the image I have used the following Copics:

Skin - E50, E51, E53
Hair - YR20, YR21, YR24
Dress - V04, V05, V06, V09
Flowers - V17, V19, V21


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 deckle edge white base card.
2. Matted and layered pink  pearlescent card and Embossed white card which I have distressed with Archival Distress Ink dusty concord.
3. Printed the image and coloured with the above Copics before cutting out with SB curved rectangle die and matting and layering onto pink pearlescent card.
4. Added lace down the side and a butterfly.
5. To finish off I added the floral spray.

Make today AMAZING

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you are all well and have had a good weekend.

I had a wonderful Saturday with Mike and Mr Bentley.

Yesterday I finished of the massive declutter, lots went to an old peoples home for their craft classes along with 3 bin bags and 2 recycle bin full which all went in the bin.

Room is now reorganised and feel so much better for it. 
Today is a full on crafting day :) 

Today sharing a new card using stamp sets #64, #140 and #81 from AALL & Create.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered red and black card.
3. To create background I used DO picked raspberry, barn door and hickory smoke, I then stenciled over with DI black soot and stamped the script from stamp set #64.
4. I stamped the bee from stamp set #81 cut out and  coloured with Distress Markers. I then stamped the daisies from stamp set #140 and stamped 2 of them again adhering with Pinflair for dimension colouring them with Distress Markers.
5. To finish off I stamped the sentiment.

The Wanderer

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Had a lovely time visiting Mike yesterday, the weather was awful over the penines.
Spent last night and again this morning sorting out the craft room as next week I have lots to get done craftwise.

Today sharing a new card using my Copics' the image is called the Wanderer from Sheepski Designs.

I have used the following Copics to colour the image:

Skin - E50, E51, E53
Hair - E23, E25, E27
Trousers - YG61, YG63, YG67
Top - BV11, BV13, BV17
Bag - E70, E71, E74
Earth - E23, E25, E27
Grass - G09, G07
Walking Stick - E70, E71
Boots - E35, E37, E39


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 cream base card turned on its side for a landscape card.
2. Matted and layered Kraft card and green floral card.
3. Printed image coloured with above Copics, created feint clouds before die cutting with stitching die.
4. Stamped the birds with Archival Ink.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment "always take the scenic route"

Practice makes Perfect Journal Journey - See the World

Take time to smell the Roses

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

The last Saturday of the month it sure has come around very quick.

Today I am off to visit my friend Mike in Leeds for a couple of hours.
Really looking forward to having a good catch up and of course see Mr Bentley.

Today sharing a card using Rose Duo stamp set from Chocolate Baroque 


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 cream square base card.
2. Matted and layered brown and pink card.
3. To create background I used DO ground Espresso and worn lipstick with DI vintage photo, I then stencilled using DI picked raspberry.
4. I stamped the rose and foliage with Archival Ink, stamped the rose onto another card then watercoloured with Distress Markers.
5. To finish off I stamped the sentiment.

Haberdashery

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you have all had a wonderful week.
Do you have any plans for the weekend?  

I have quite a couple of videos I want to make today, a busy weekend making cards etc for my blog.

A new card using Tim Holtz Stitches and Haberdashery Blue Print stamp set.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white scalloped edge base card.
2. Matted and layered Kraft Card.
3. The background was created from excess Gesso and Starlight Paints from another project.
4. Stamped the stitches and dress form with Archival DI vintage photo, stamped dress form again and cut out before watercolouring with Distress Markers.
5. To finish off I added 3 orange buttons.

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Well it is off to weigh in today, fingers crossed the scales are good to me.

A visit to my dad also is planned, he is doing well and the physiotherapist is pleased with his progress.

A new card using Distress Oxides, Stamp Sets by Tim Holtz and Mixed Media dies


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white base card.
2. Matted and layered grey pearlescent card.
3. To create background I used DO broken china, weathered wood and fired brick, I then cut out the top corner using one of the dies from the Mixed Media set. Matted white card on back on card.
4. Stamped the jar and wild flowers with Versafine and embossed before cutting out and coloured with Distress Markers.
5. To finish off I stamped the sentiment, leaves and fallen flower before adding the jar filled with flowers with foam pads for dimension.

All Dressed Up - Butterfly Wings

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Shopping to do first thing and then going to be spending the day crafting playing with some of my new products, then this afternoon have a hair cut, well a trim really.

As it is Wednesday it means a coloured image using my Copics and I have used All Dressed up image called Butterfly Wings.

I have used the following Copics to colour the image:

Skin - E50, E51, E53
Hair, E35, E57, E49
Dress - R22, R24, R29
Wings - R14, Y13, Y17
Flowers/Butterflies - Spica Glitter Pens


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 Kraft square card base, cutting the front of card into a triangle.
2. Matted and layered front and inside of card with orange and floral red card.
3. Printed image and coloured with above Copics before cutting out with SB die Labels One.
4. Matted and layered image onto yellow die cut card.
5. To finish off added the butterfly and clear bling.

Dance in the Rain

I got quite a bit done and enjoyed a couple of days relaxing in the garden.

3. Created background using DO frayed burlap, brushed corduroy, rusty hinge and DO spray spiced marmalade.

Curiosity

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you are all enjoying the Easter break.

I have had a lovely couple of days chilling out, catching up on some reading, visiting dad and knitting.

Today a new card using AALL & Create new stamps and stencil.
The stamps and stencil are designed by Aida Domisiewcz (#65 #61 and Tracy Evans(#34)


Step by Step

1. DL white base card.
2. Matted and layered turquoise pearlescent card.
3. Created background using DO wild honey, peacock feathers and twisted citron.
3. I then stencilled #61 using DI mustard seed, stamped the border #34 using Archival DI black soot.
4. Stencilled circles using DI twisted citron.
5. To finish off I stamped the bottle, splodge and sentiment with Archival DI black soot.

Cogs n Gears

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Happy Easter to you all!

A mixed media to share with you today, no video for this one as this is what I created last week when I went to Kath's for our crafty play day.

A steampunk canvas, I have used all Imagination Crafts products for this.
The cogs and gears are from Stamps Away.


Step by Step

1. 10 x 8 canvas which I have used the reverse side off.
2. I painted the canvas with brown paint and using the crackle on both the inside piece of card and the edges of the canvas. I then painted over with Shabby Chic linen.
3. I then stencilled the edges of the canvs and the card insert with Starlight paint in Topaz.
4. I then painted the cogs and gears with Rusty Patina and then sprayed with orange oxide before arranging on the corrugated card.
5. I added the door hinge, lock, metal key, 2 light bulbs and art stones.
6. To finish off I lightly spritzed the canvas with Starlight paint Orange Oxide.

Choose to Shine

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Hope you are enjoying the Easter weekend.

I have a lot of crafting to make a start on today. I have at least 2 videos to make, cards to start on and lots of admin too.

Today's card is made using Tim Holtz Glorious Garden stamp set.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 black square base card.
2. Matted and layered burgundy card.
3. To create background I used Distress Oxide hickory smoke.
4. Stamped the image with Versafine and embossed with WOW clear embossing powder.
5. Stamped image again die cut circle out off main flower and coloured with Red SN glitter pen, I then added red splatters to background before adhering the circle with foam pads for dimension.
6. To finish off I added the sentiment.

The Journey

A very busy day is planned here, lots of videos to make, edit and upload.

Today's new card is made using Tim Holtz Vintage Auto stamp set.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 square Kraft card base.
2. Matted and layered navy blue card.
3. Created the background using DO frayed burlap, shaded lilac and stormy sky.
4. I then stencilled using DI black soot.
5. Stamped the card onto the background, then stamped again with Versafine sepia, embossed, cut out and adhered with foam pads.
6. To finish off I added the sentiment from Tim Holtz chit chats.

I am off to visit dad then it is weigh in today, expecting a gain after a fabulous weekend away on the Isle of Man.

Today sharing a card using my new stamps designed by Tracy Evans from AALL & Create
I have used stamp sets #34 and #140


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 cream square base card.
2. Matted and layered mauve card.
3. Created background using DO Seedless Preserves, Forest Moss and Wilted Violet.
4. Stamped #34 stamp set down both sides using Archival DI ground espresso, then the flowers and sentiment from #140.
5. To finish off I coloured the flowers with Zig Brush Pens.

Gnomes!

Wednesday and that means another card made using an image coloured with my Copics.

I have used Stamping Bella Gnomes stamp from Dies to Die For.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white scalloped edge base card.
2. Matted and layered red card.
3. To create background I used DI Salty Ocean and Shabby Shutters, I then used Stormy sky to create the clouds.
4. Stamped the gnomes, coloured and cut out before adhering to the scene.
5. To finish off I stamped the sentiment.

Thinking of You
