1. A5 landscape white base card.

3. Matted and layered the Hunkydory topper onto pink card.
4. Added lace and 3 resin flowers to the corner.

February Vlog

A Fine Romance

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

WOW can you believe we have 2 more days of February left?
Another month flown by!

Today a couple of errands and weigh in this morning and this afternoon my plan of action is to sit snuggled up in front of the fire doing some knitting.

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered gold and patterned paper.
3. Matted and layered doily which has been distressed with Archival Distress Ink ground espresso.
4. Matted and layered the topper.
5. To finish off created the bouquet using Wild Orchid Flowers, leaves and some bling.

Acrylic Pours

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

It is my blog's 9th anniversary today!
WOW how time flies when you are having fun.

It is also my Dad's birthday too, he will be 83 and still going strong.

A couple of weeks ago I had a crafty session with my friend Jennifer showing her how to do acrylic pours.  We had a lot of fun that day and produced these 2 canvas'

 For this on I have used my favourite colour combination of brown, gold and turquoise.
I was really pleased with the cells on this one.


For this one I used different shades of purple with silver.
For both canvas' I have used Pebeo paints and Dimethicone for the cells.

Bejewelled Butterflies

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Hope all is well and you have had a good week.

What are you up too this weekend?

I will be videoing some mixed media videos this weekend, not sure what yet but I know I will be getting rather messy.

A new card using Bejewelled Butterflies topper.


Step by Step

1. A5 white oval base card.
2. Matted and layered purple pearlescent card and patterned paper which have been cut with Tattered Lace Ornamental Worn Oval die.
3. Matted and layered the topper.
4. Due cut 3 butterflies.
5. To finish off added the gems and sentiment.

Time for Snuggles

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A very busy morning, I have some errands to do before I go and get weighed.
After my mini break I am hoping to have maintained and not put weight on but we will have to see.

I have been playing around with my Screen Sensation and made this gift.


I have used my Screen Sensation with pearlised white paint onto black 12 x 12 card to create this insert for my 12 x 12 frame.  

I am really pleased with the monotone effect.

Purr-fect Day

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Hope you all had a great weekend.

As you know I am a cat lover and missed my Fluffy and Georgie while we were away.
When we came home they gave us the silent treatment until it was time for food and treats.
They are little tinkers but I would be lost without them, especially in the evening whilst watching TV when they both snuggle up with me, extra warmth, my little hot water bottles 😂

Today sharing a cute kitty card.


Step by Step

1. I die cut the base card with white pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered navy card.
3. Die cut scalloped circle die with navy card and matted and layered topper.
4. Adhered the sentiment along the bottom.
5. To finish off added the resin flowers.

Christmas Card Club - A Christmas Carol

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you have all had a good weekend so far.

Today sharing another Christmas card for the Christmas card club.

The theme this fortnight was chosen by Christine and it is "A Christmas Carol"

I have chosen to use choristers singing carols recycling an old Christmas card.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 Kraft square base card.
2. Matted and layered gold and patterned card.
3. Matted and layered a white square doily.
4. Matted and layered the old Christmas card.
5. To finish off added the red gems to the 4 corners and the sentiment.

Destiny

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

We had a lovely couple of day up in Scotland celebrating our anniversary.

While we were away our bedroom was replastered ready for us to decorate next weekend.

This weekend we will be catching up on the washing and ironing as well as trying to get ahead with blog and video work.

1. Black octagonal scalloped base card.
2. Matted and layered pale and navy blue pearlescent card die cut with Tattered Lace layering dies.
3. Added the stopper with foam pads.

Pretty in Pink

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Rick and I celebrate our anniversary today, I don't know where the years have gone but it sure has been a wonderful 21 years together.

Today's card is made using Tattered Lace die set.


Step by Step

1. A5 navy pearlescent base card.
2. Die cut in white pearlescent then die cut the overlay and flowers in pink card.
3. Decoupaged the flowers with cream paper and distressed with picked raspberry.
4. Added the butterfly die cut from stash.
5. To finish off added the birthday sentiment.

Butterflies and Roses

Good Morning Crafty Friends

Hope all is well and you have all had a good week.

I have had a good but busy week, making cards and videos for my blog.
I have also made a couple of boxed commissioned cards too.

Today sharing an easel card.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 Kraft card, scored front of card to create easel.
2. Matted and layered green pearlescent card and patterned paper to both base and top of card.
3. Added lace on the base layer to act as a stopper.
4. Added topper with foam pads and decorative strip.
5. To finish off added resin roses and sentiment.

Creative Artiste Guest Designer #57

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Towards the end of last year I won a challenge over at Creative Artiste mixed media blog and was asked if I would be a Guest Designer for Challenge #57.

Of course I said yes!  Today I am sharing my canvas with you which I have used a combination of Sue Baker Presents and Cadence products.


Step by Step

I have used a 10 x 8 canvas panel and first layer is the rice paper.
I then stencilled using Structure paste and stippled around the paper with Starlights Mentol.
Using Cadence finger wax I stencilled the script in 3 areas.
For the next layer I stencilled the butterflies using Sparkle Medium in silver.
To finish off I edged the canvas with green finger wax and added splats.

Love Peace and Happiness

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends,

I am sharing with you my samples from the brand new collection from Imagination Crafts

Sue and Mandy are on Create and Craft today at 12 noon for a 2 hour show showcasing this new collection called Love, Peace, Happiness.

It is called Love, Peace and Happiness which is very much has an oriental feel.


A set of drawers, I made a hand with paper clay and added the flowers.


A small tray


A box frame


A4 canvas


11 inch circular cake board


Large canvas, die cut the fan and sprayed with Marble spray.
