Christmas in June Day 7

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Well here we are the last in my Christmas Cards in June series.
Thank you for visiting and your lovely comment! I do appreciate them all.

I have decided that going forward Sunday's are going to be my Christmas card days.
After buying cards the last 2 years I decided to join the Christmas Card Club where we post once a fortnight on Sunday's so I am going to continue with Christmas cards now until the end of the year!
Hopefully I will have enough that I don't have to go and buy any!

I have again created a Z fold card using Stephanie Weightman's Christmas All Wrapped Up Signature collection.


Step by Step

1. Z Fold card created using Cream Pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered gold and patterned charisma paper from USB on inside and side panel of card.
3. Matted and layered gold card and wrapped cream ribbon around the smaller Z fold panel.
4. Matted and layered the topper from the card kit onto gold and cram card.
5. Printed the floral spray from the USB and die cut with corresponding die.
6. To finish off added the red gems and sentiment.

Christmas in June Day 6

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

I have been a bit busy so far, yesterday I did some baking, cheesecake, lemon cupcakes and some mini quiches.  Today going to be getting the scan and cut out to familiarise myself on how to use and what all the buttons are for!

Today's card is using another Hunkydory Topper.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered red stripped card, silver mirri card and green patterned card.
3. Matted and layered topper with foam pads.
4. Stamped the sentiment with Sheena Jet black ink.
5. To finish off added red pearl gems around the topper.

Vintage Rose

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I hope that you are all keeping well and having a good week so far.

Today I am sharing with you my samples for Imagination Crafts new collection which consists of a USB full of wonderful vintage papers which can be printed onto Sumi Rice Paper.

Mandy will be on Create and Craft today at 12 noon for 2 shows with lots of other products.

Christmas in June Day 5

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A busy morning here, my usual Slimming World Zoom meeting at 10.30 in between getting some project made for my blog and prepping for my video making this weekend.

Today's card is made using Stephanie Weightman's Christmas all Wrapped Up Signature Collection


Step by Step

1. A5 tent card made into an easel card.
2. Matted and layered base with silver and patterned card, matted and layered sentiment onto silver card which acts as the stopper.
3. Matted and layered the same card onto the front panel.
4. Die cut the globe and the snowman topper to go inside.
5. To finish off decoupaged the snowman and added the bauble and stocking spray.

Christmas in June Day 4

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Can you believe a week today is July!
This month sure has flown by!

I had a busy day yesterday, sorting out my stamps, dies and stencils as well as labelling everything that I missed the last time.  Today is going to be spent in the garden.

Sharing a new Christmas card using Hobby House Topper.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 cream square base card.
2. Matted and layered green patterned card and mirri card.
3. Matted and layered topper onto gold patterned card.
4. Added to holly corners.

Christmas in June Day 3

Today I am continuing on with my Christmas in June card series.

I have Hunkydory Art Deco card kit.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white square scalloped front base card.
2. Matted and layered gold and patterned card.
3. Matted and layered topper with foam pads.
4. Added clear gems on snowflakes and along the join of the two patterns.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment.

Christmas in June Day 2 CCC #13

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing my Christmas card for the Christmas Card Club #13.
The theme this month is "Sentiment as a Focus" but I have gone for Anything Goes this time.

The theme was chosen by Christine.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 5 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered snowflake card and gold patterned card.
3. Matted and layered topper onto blue card.
4. Added glitter to the snow on the topper.
5. To finish off added the sentiment and holly and berry embellishments.

Christmas in June Day 1

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

I have decided to have Christmas in June for the rest of the Month.

For the past couple of years I have ended up buying Christmas card but decided this year I would pull my socks up so to speak and get them all made.  It has helped being on Lock Down, I hope you enjoy.

I love penguins so started with this card using Stephanie Weightman's Christmas Wrapped Up Collection.


Step by Step

1. Base card measures 11.5 cm x 21 cm cream pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered gold card die cut with SB Grande Scalloped circle and red card, also patterned card from the kit.
3. Printed image and die cut then decoupaged for depth.
4. Die cute the snow flakes which were on the USB and added glitter.
5. Stamped the sentiment and added gold dashes around label.

Especially for You

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

This is my first blog post for today.

I have a nice relaxing weekend planned, reading a bit of knitting and watching some movies.
I am going to take a break from the craft room for a couple of days.

Today's is another water colour card using White Knight water colour paints, Sheena stamps and Micron pen.


Step by Step

1. DL white base card.
2. Matted and layered purple card.
3. To create background I used pink, purple, blue and yellow paints, once dried I stamped the foliage.
4. Using the splatter and Riga brush I created frond's, I used 0.1 Micron black pen to draw around the image and drew 3 birds in the sky.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment "Especially for You".

Get Well Soon

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

A busy morning doing a few jobs around the house before my Slimming World Zoom meeting.

What are your plans for the day?

Today's card has a bit of paint fusion using Pebeo paints, SN glitter pens for the background and Sheena Rose bud stamp.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered Navy blue card.
3. To create the background I used SN glitter pens, water and cling film.
4. Stamped the rose bud image and paint fusioned, then I paint fusioned the rose buds in each of the corners.
5. To finish off added the "get well soon" sentiment.
